Update on house renovation

Since the last update, they have finally started tiling! :)

hmm a not so good news is that the level of the living room could be a bit lower than the remaining room by 1cm? due to the laying of platform over existing marble. We tried to raise the living room tiles to the max but the max is restricted by the bomb shelter door (too high and you cant close it...and yes you cant saw off the bomb shelter door!)

Good news...can see the house transforming :) pretty...

Day 1 hacking...

pictures a bit dark due to using n95 camera phone...

but impress with half day worth of work...we decide to stop work for few days because the neighbour below is having her confinement period (baby)...She has requested that we begin work on Monday, 17 March 08 instead...I agree as really very noisy for someone who just gave birth.

Renovating new house!

Guess there are so much to update -

1. Zee and I got ourself a flat from HDB! Its a five room flat located in Choa Chu Kang Ave 3 :) price is pretty reasonable compare to the market rate (we got it at 230k, our neighbour got his resale 4 room flat at 240k) Guess we can count our lucky star...
